Edgartown, Martha’s Vineyard, MA 2023
During the summer of 2023, Island Spray had the great honor of painting the entire inside of the Martha’s Vineyard Boys & Girls Club Gymnasium.
Kids and teens from all over the island go to after-school and summer programs at the BGC, so we went with the theme ‘B Tru 2 Ur Skool’
The pieces and mascots represent all of the island’s schools.
This mural is probably my all-time favorite mural that I’ve done! It’s great to see the kids engage with the pieces when they’re playing ball or other games in the gym. A splash of color on the walls goes a long way.
Later that summer, former NBA player and current assistant coach of the Boston Celtics Amile Jefferson brought a crew of his groomsmen to the gym and filmed this piece, ‘BESTMEN,’ celebrating his wedding party on the island.

In addition to the gym, Island Spray also muralized the Teen Room, and the main entrance to the Club.
