While I was painting the ‘Red Line’ piece in Central Square, a fellow with a strong Irish accent came up and started chatting about the artwork.
It turned out he was part-owner of a bar right across the street, The Phoenix Landing, where they have an alleyway art wall that’s constantly changing and evolving.
Joe invited me to come paint at the bar, and the next day I took my leftover cans and did this piece showing a loosely interpreted street view of the surrounding Central Square scenery.
