Island Spray MV provides custom airbrush and aerosol art to the island of Martha’s Vineyard and beyond.
Established in 2018 in Oak Bluffs, Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts, Island Spray custom paints clothing, canvas, concrete, cars, and any other sprayable surface.

Pet Portraits have become a specialty for Island Spray. This piece, ‘George,’ was commissioned by islander Brad Tucker at Oak Bluffs Tivoli Day 2024:
And every August, Island Spray has a booth at the annual Martha’s Vineyard Agricultural Society Fair in West Tisbury. The Ag Fair is four days straight of non-stop carnie action; every year, Island Spray makes hundreds of shirts and hats for the people of Martha’s Vineyard. 2025 will mark our sixth year at the Fair!
About the artist
Jonah Miller was born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota. He first set foot on the shores of Lagoon Pond at age one in the summer of 1989. Since then much has happened:
- In high school Jonah worked at Camp Snoopy in the Mall of America in Bloomington, MN, where he began his airbrush career.
- He attended Harvard College in Cambridge, MA, where he earned his BA in Visual and Environmental Studies.
- Jonah has held various in-house and freelance graphic design roles in the world of skateboarding and sportswear. Some brands he has worked with include Nike, adidas, Reebok, New Balance, and a multitude of skateboard companies. - He moved to Martha’s Vineyard full-time in 2017, where he has lived ever since.
Outside of airbrush art and design work, Jonah enjoys skateboarding, drawing, playing the piano and traveling. He speaks pretty good Español and is learning Português.
